    Split Data Output into Rows

Hello, I have a scientific instrument that dumps data into Excel, but in a very sloppy way, and I was wondering if a macro is the way to improve it.

Let's say I have 3 objects, which have 5 data points each. The machine just starts in cell A1,rips right across, & and ends in N1. All 15 data points are in the same line.

I need to tell the machine to go to A2 after E1, A3 after E2, etc.

In essence, I would like each object's 5 data points to be in it's own row.

Could someone point me in the right direction for that?

    Thank you,

    Mark

    Inbound,

    Welcome to the Excel forum.

Please attach your workbook or a sample workbook that accurately portrays your current workbook on one sheet, and what it should look like 'After' on another sheet. This makes it much easier to see exactly what you want to do, as well as shows us whether there is a consistent number of rows between tables and such.

To attach you workbook, click on the New Post button, then scroll down and click on the Manage Attachments button.
    Have a great day,
    Stan

    Hello inbound,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Because you are new, I am changing your title to better reflect your question and make it more easier to find when searching the the database.

What system are you using to get the data data into Excel? is it LIMS?
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
