I've add a macro to enable full screen mode and hide toolbars menu to an xls work-sheet but i have noticed when i minimize and maximize again my worksheet it doesn't return to full screen mode and the tool bar is again visible.

i've download the last file File (water9.xls) but still when i minimize and maximize the file it goes off full screen mode
and toolsbars are visible

This seems to work, it also restores the view when a different workbook is selected

In any language it should be obvious, merely stating "it doesn't work" doesn't help us know what the problem is that you have encountered

Hello, I know this thread is long since dead, but I have the same issue as user rooky. (Whose attitude was indeed not that great).
I have a workbook which I intend to host on our company's server, which can be accessed by anyone internally. The workbook will display various charts of the company's revenues, profits, etc. I would like to provide the directory path to this file to various employees and corporate relations. I would like to limit them to one specific view, upon opening the workbook: Fullscreen, no toolbars, no scrollbars.
I have written the macros to do this, and it works perfectly. Upon opening (and enabling macros) this view is restored. However, if the user minimizes this full screen view, or resizes the window to non-fullscreen, all toolbars and scrollbars reappear.

I'm also willing to bite the bullet that perhaps this is impossible- making a spreadsheet not only locked and un-editable, but also keeping all toolbars and Excel locked down too. I'm also afraid that once I do this, that the person I give the copy to (to maintain the original before hosting it on server) will be unable to edit it at all!
Any advice? Is it possible to lock down a workbook so entirely that the user can do nothing more than look at a fullscreen view, not even change views or access any menus?

Well, after speaking with my superior on this, he admitted it was only a minor feature he would like added and it is not a high priority to prevent these toolbars. So I suppose I do not actually need a response to this anymore!
Out of genuine curiosity though, is it possible? Just a thought.

My solution is Just uncheck all the options in Advanced field from Excel options dialog box and protect your sheet by giving your own password. now, if you even minimize it, it will show in fullscreen mode with no scroll bars and other stuff.
@Banuchander, obviously you need to excelforum and to posting online in general. It is both against the forum rules and is generally considered to be rude to post a question in another person's thread. This is termed hijacking the thread. So please don't promote it. And while we are on the subject of rules, you might want to read them before providing future faulty guidance.
