    Macro to paste special

    Hello

I was hoping somebody could help please, i am trying to devise a spreadsheet, and am a lot of the way through it.

But i am having a problem, with one bit so was hoping somebody could help please.

How the spreadsheet works is it has two buttons. i copy some text and icons/pictures and then paste it by pressing my first button. The second button then reads this data and extracts information from it.

The problem i am having is when i paste this data, and utilise it, it then gets deleted, but for some reason the icons/pictures remain behind. When i then paste a new set of data for some reason the macros get messes up with various error messages, and the whole thing slows down. i am pretty sure the problem is these icons/pictures.

through messing around, ihave the found that when i change the paste special to text then these pictures/icons dont come across, and i can reuse the data, with no problems.

So i am guessing i needto incorporate this paste special for text into my macro. but i dont know how to, can anybody help at all.

Sorry if this is a bit longwinded.

    kind regards

    Joe

Re: help with macro to paste special

    Hi sandbach

Either post the Macro (please use code tags) or preferably, post the workbook. I'll be glad to look at it.
