How do I setup radio buttons to display different worksheet data in graphs

    Hi All

I am a university student doing an internship where I have to create a dashboard for the company to be able to, at a glance, get a reasonable indication on how things are going in the various departments.

I've attached a jpg of what I've conceived so far. What I would like to do also is, as can be seen at the top left, have radio buttons that a user can click on to retrieve from a difference worksheet appropriate data and have the graphs instantly update to that relevant information. So a single button will access 6 or more sections of data and pull it into the graphs on the dashboard page.

Problem is I have no idea how to even ask what I'm looking for! Therefore I have no idea how to search for what I am wanting. So if you have an idea as to what I maybe looking for could you point me in the right direction either here, google or a couple of excel references.

    Thx in advance

PS wonder what the Internship Coordinator will think when I say that my three years of university did absolutely nothing to help me on this project...

    Re: I'm creating a dashboard...

After a quick look, I believe you will be working with pivot tables and pivot charts. These will allow you to filter your data based on department. Most all this hinges on having the appropriate data in your tables. Each table looks like it needs a year field based on the x axis of all your charts.

You will also need to build a calculated column to help draw the Least Squared Regression Line, you neatly had in your jpg.

I hope you have a few months to complete this project.

You might start by reading the rules of this forum and editing your title so it complies with our rules.
