    Project is unviewable message

    Hi everyone

I have a file which is protected and shared. I have unshared and unprotected this file. I can run macros but I can't 'step into' or access by using the editor (Alt & F11).

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks
    P

    Try unsharing the workbook.

Another possibility is that it was created in an earlier version of Excel
    Hope that helps.

    Hi Roy

It is unshared, and I'm using the same version of excel as I created it in. I've also checked with the users to make sure it hasn't been used in a different version of excel (which it hasn't).

Does this mean I can't make any further adjustments to the macros in the file?

Did you password protect the code?

No I didn't, and I know none of the users have the ability to do that

Well, it sounds as though it is either still shared, or corrupt. (the latter being reasonably likely with shared workbooks). Can you protect and unprotect sheets?

I've tried rebooting to no avail. If it is shared it is not displaying that information (unless that can be hidden). I can run the macros and I can protect and unprotect.

    ???
