    Hiding rows:a large workbook

    Hi,

I have a problem with Excel 2010. We have built a large workbook since a long time. It was developed with Excel 2003. Everything was working fine. But with Excel 2010, when we hide rows. Ex: Sheet1.RangeX. EntireColumn.Hidden = true or false, it takes forever. We found out that hidden object in the workbook like this, ActiveWorkbook.DisplayDrawingObjects = xlHide fix the speed problem.

But it creates another one. A lot of the time, radio buttons on some sheets doesn’t reappear at the right place or their width and height have changed a lot. Ex: Take the entire screen or are invisible and cannot be set to visible again. It’s strange because it’s not all the radio buttons that are affected by this behaviour. Also, it’s only radio buttons. We have checkbox and they works well.

    Thanks,

    Tommy

    Hi Tommy

Right click the control (the radio button) and select Format Control. On the Properties tab, make sure 'Don't move or size with cells' is selected.

    Hi Dion,

Yes every control are set like this. It works very fine in 2003 but not in 2010.
