Out of Memory Error, on third line of code.

Hey all, i get an out of memory error when my code hits this line.

If Activecell.value = Activecell.ofset(0,-1).value then

It worked a couple of times when i ran the code but it doesnt work now. i didnt think that that would take up a load of memory.

is there any other reason why that message would appear? or i get a break on it.

ofter the out of memory it gets to that line and gives the object not defined or something like that error.

is there anything i am doing wrong??

You appear to have misspelled Offset.

What if the activecell is in column A ?

Hey all,

Thanks for all your replys. I have just realised that it is selecting column A1 on the wrong sheet even though i have Sheet1.select in the code.

I have changed the range now and the Sheet1.select part to Sheet1.rangeA1 the jump to right.

and it now works. was a bit unsure why it wasnt selecting the cell on the sheet i selected though.
