    Question Employee Details

    Hi All,

I have a workbook which contains 3 sheets, in sheet 2 & 3 we have near about 500 employee records.

Here what i am looking is,

In sheet 1, if I enter the employee number in A1 and after clicking on the button excel will search the details of the employee from sheet 2 & 3 and will show it to me on sheet 1.

    Waiting for the reply.

    Regards
    Ravi

Have a look at the VBA find method. This will return a range object if a match is found which can then be used to return the information you require.

If you want help with the code post back.

    Thanks Domski

could you please get me the code. ( I know through find option I can get the details).

My intention is, I have 500 employee records and those are vry confidential, and what I want is nobody can see all the details, only they can see their own details.
