making a macro in excel

I need help making a macro that will move data from a text file into the appropriate places in an excel file.

I need it to paste the data from the text file into columns K,L,M and N.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Need a bit more information. Is the text file already open in Excel? Or do you need code to locate it, open it and import the data? Is the data comma separated? Which bits of data in the text file are the relevant ones to copy to the "appropriate" places.

A sample file would be helpful with a description of your desired outcome.
