I am having a problem with a program.
Its a financial program that has macros to calculate risk based on the companies financial ratio's.
I have tried adding to this by using regular formulas. I added a second sheet to the workbook and put several fields in it so I can just enter data from the financial statement and have excel do all the math for me and paste it to the original sheet that calculates the risk rating.
My problem is I want to be able to automatically paste info (link) from my sheet to the sheet with the macros. This way I only need to enter info once. I can get this to work with a paste special, but I can’t get the macro's to auto calculate the cells that have a link from my sheet. To get the macros to work I need to save it, close and reopen the file, or click on save as. The formulas are already set to automatically calculate. I think it has something to do with the macros but unfortunately I know nothing about macros. I don’t know if I need to do something to my formulas or if I need a special macro code to make them auto calculate.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
