    Compare Two Files

    Hey Friends, Here we go:
    I need to open and compare two files and bring the results in a sheet. The files are a .edi and .txt.
    (i.e. I need to know if a word exist on a .edi file and .txt file and then mark a row with a "x" letter.

    Anyone have an idea how to do it or something which I can get a start?

    Well, you could check out "OpenTextFile Method" in VBE help.
