    Moving a row of text to another worksheet depending on a column

    Hi All,

    I have a spreadsheet with about 20 worksheets. Majority of the worksheets have 15 columns of relevant data and the the number of rows under the column headers will vary. The columns are all the same on each worksheet.

    For the case of the explaination the worksheet containing the information that needs to be copied can be called "Data" and the worksheet it needs to be pasted on is
    "Calendar".

    What I need to do is if there is a date (can be any date, except for an invalid one, e.g 00 Jan 00) in any cells in Column A of the "data" worksheet (under row 1, which is the headers) copy the entire row and paste it onto the "Calendar" worksheet in the next available row.

    Once this can be done, I need some help to write something that will be able to identify that if the date in column A on the "data" worksheet is deleted the corresponding data on "Calendar" sheet is deleted.

    I look forward to some help, I have done a fair bit of searching on the web but can not really find an example similar enough to amend.

    Thanks,
    CherieA

    To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

    If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

    Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

    Hi Cherie;

    When will the row be copied from "Data" to "Calendar"? Do you to want to put a button on "Data" to do it? Do you want it copied when the user changes row on "Data"? Are all rows on "Data" copied at once or 1 at a time as the person is entering data? Or When?

    How are the dates on "Data" deleted? Are they deleting the entire row? Are they changing the date in column A? Or how?

    You say there are about 20 worksheets. Do they all need to copy rows onto "Calendar"? If they do, how will Excel know which row do remove on "Calendar"?
