how to extract the value of a named cell in another workbook without activating it

I'm using this code for extracting the value of a named cell in Workbook1.xlsx, (VB code is located also in Workbook1.xlsx):

date_pt = Range("min_date_pt").Value

I also have another workbook open, let's say "Workbook2.xlsx". How would I extract the value of a named cell (my_named_cell) in it in the same sub?
