Is there a way to suppress the 'undo' option in Excel 2007. I am doing a subtotal on a huge data with more than 300 numeric fields and hope this option may reduce the processing time considerably.

How are you doing the subtotal?
Hope that helps.

If you're doing the subtotal in code, there is no undo anyway, but I suspect you'll still have performance issues - subtotals are not particularly fast with large data sets anyway. Pivot tables are much better.
