Reason for using Properies in Class Module?

I can see situations where code examples for Excel Class Modules use Properties Let and Get statements when you could easily include those functions in a Method in the class module.

For example, I could use a Class.Method(with and argument) in a sub procedure when most examples will show a sub procedure referencing a class Method which calls the Property Let to do the same job?

I'm trying to understand this. Thanks
