Sheet with no Macros, how is it done?

Hello

OK I'm a self taught Excel pragrammer along with a lot of other systems and languages. Most people I ever meet always ask my advice on Excel as I often use Excel fro far more that creating Spreadsheets.

Now I've just come across. http://www.excely.com/download/worldcup2010.zip this sheet and wondered how it was all done.

There are no Macros on the sheets and when the Combo box values change a lot of what I would normally do in VBA is done.

Also the little things like the flags. How are they dealt with where the cell text is aligned right up against the image? It looks like the image is in the cell.

It's all done with Data Validation dropdowns and formulas. The flags are simply inserted onto the worksheet and then carefully positioned.
