Auto deduct to nearest 10 or 5 while saving oddment

I need some help with a formula in one of my spreadsheets. I use these to keep records of our takings in the shop. We have just changed to anoher building society to pay our cash takings into. Upto now the spreadsheet woks out the Banking figure by deducting any other payments. Now the new B/S wont allow coins to be cashed in so now i need to reduce the bank figure to the lowest 10,15,20,25 etc while keeping the deducted by figure in another cell.

Im not sure how to phrase this to search within the forum or on google.

    Can anyone help?

Rounding down to nearest 5 (see FLOOR) won't always work though will it ?

If you have 5 x £2 coins you seemingly can't cash any of it, is that correct ?

Yeah thats right but we can wait till later in the day until we have enough notes then bank all notes. The oddment will be cashed into our main account at the end of the month. Our main account charge to deposit cash and seeing as 80% of our takings is cash we would like to keep it aslong as we can.

Thanks for the heads up on Floor, will look at that now.
