Advance filter criteria basis cell formatting

hi,

is it possible in advance filter to give the criteria as cell formatting. actually need to filter across columns using advance filter with the criteria as cell fill color.

have attached as sample sheet. so basically in this sheet if want to filter column wise all the cells that are marked in red color, how will i be able to do that. auto filter will work in series and not parallely and as such will skip some cells.

You may need to explain more, you have some Columns and Rows with Both Green and Red, what are your expected results?

Need to filter across columns for the cell that are formatted with any particular color. as in the sheet, if the advance filter is applied on columns for color red, then i should be able to filter all the cells that have red color as cell fill color. just like the autofilter in excel 2k7 gives the option to filter by color, need the same functionality in advance filter. the problem with autofilter is that it is applicable on any given/single column only and not across multiple columns. that can be done through advance filter only but how is something i need help with.
