Bar Chart - how to colour specific category axis values.

    Good morning

The attached column chart plots the values in column D.
C2 is a variable name which is contained within two of the vertical categories. The aim is to identify those two names whenever the name in C2 varies.

At the moment the two identifying rectangles are simply overlaid.

    Q. What's the easiest way to have these dynamically located over the relevant names. Note the category names contain the variable value plus some extra text? If it's simpler then a differently coloured bar would be OK. Even better would be both options.

If VBA code is necessary what would be the syntax?

    Usual TIA

    Regards
