    Cell value in column

    I am looking to automate some long spreadsheet files to lower the time i will need to spend on these. Basically I am looking to:

    If the value of column B is equal to a specific number, then column E equals a specific NUMBER.

    (e.g.) IF COLUMN B == 1936, THEN CLOUMN E = $10.00.

    Hi,

    You could use a lookup table and VLOOKUP to achieve this or did you particularly need to do it with VBA?
