Pulling in data without opening other workbook

Hello,

I need to have the attached code able to pull in "sheet 1" from each workbook and for some reason, I cannot get it to just pull that data in. Instead it will pull in whatever sheet was the one that was open when it was saved. I have tried sheets("sheet1").select, but that hasn't worked wherever I put it. In addition to this, I need to be able to pull in the data without actually opening the files because they will each be 90 MBs when I use the real data. Is that possible and if so, can someone please tell me the code? Thank you very much.
