Opening one .dat file from each of several zipped files

Do any of you know how I could go about opening one specific file from each of about 100 zipped files?

To clarify a bit - I have about 100 zipped files out on a network drive. Each of those zipped files contains a .dat file called "ABC.dat" (it's ALWAYS the same name). In a nutshell, I'd like to have the contents of all the ABC.dat files in one continuous spreadsheet.

Each ABC.dat file is straightforward... data is only 2 columns wide and consists of between 4,000 and 6,000 lines, so I can import all the data to 1 sheet with no problem (using Excel 2007).

I've tried a solution from Ron De Bruin, but it only opens 1 file at a time. Before I start mucking around with it, I wanted to check with the experts (y'all) to see if you had any tricks up your sleeves that could help make this a little easier.

    Thanks
    JP

Don't you just need some code around the code you have in order to process multiple files?

Sorry for the delayed response...huge virus problem here at work. Anyway, I had tried modifying to code, but wasn't able to get a piece of it working.
Problem has been solved though - the user I was doing this for quit last night! More than one way to skin a cat I suppose!
