PERFECT SECURITY for EXCEL FILE

Dear all,

Nowadays there are many softwares to crack out excel file password very easily.
But still we want our file to be secure. Is there any way to protect from such hacking? or Is there any other security which will be a guarantee one?

This threat is prevailing in many of us. Please some genius help.

Not possible under normal circumstances unless you are willing to pay for software

Also,there's no need to capitalise the lettering of thread titles

Could you elaborate further on this point? I thought the internal security in excel was the only form of security possible, but I guess I was wrong. Are there professional solutions to help protect our code?

You can purchase software but it's not cheap

If you are worried about it being "cracked" then what you really need to do is get actual encryption.

Truecrypt is a free open source applications. In it you can create a file container and then load that file container as a drive. Place your excel workbook on the drive and the unmount it. To remount the drive, you need to put in the password you designated the first time you mounted it so the data can be decoded.

I use it all over my system to protect sensitive data in case it is stolen/lost/hacked/etc
