Macro to search Specific Records and Create Link

I have a workbook that imports web data (company Income Statements) to sheet1. Sheet2 has formula that manipulate the data imported on sheet1. The problem is that the data imported differs by company. Some imports have 70 line items (rows) others have more or less, which in turn, affects the order the items are listed in. The columns are used for years.

I need a macro that can search sheet 1 for specific cell data (i.e. Revenue & 2009, Revenue and 2008 etc) and create links to specific cells on Sheet2 where the existing formula can perform the calculations. I have been manually creating the links (over 30 links per company), because I can't figure out how to implement Vlookup or Index and Match. Can someone please help with some example code, or provide me a link to some "easier to understand" documentation that could help me. Thanks in advance.
