vba enter data into blank column

Help! new to VBA. I have a DDE/RTD feed into a column from which i want to sample every 5 minutes. I wanto save the data into an ajacent column and the next sample into the next ajacent column and so on. I have the dde ok and the timing ok, but am stuck on not overwriting. I have tried do until isempty, offsets, end and loops but have not been succesful. What should i do?

This code gives you the number of columns (and rows) that already have data in them...
