VBA to issue click command

I have a webpage that I want to logon to but don't know how to code VBA SQL code so my thought is if I can have a macro click a specific location on the screen to log me on (the username and password are saved so no need to type that in). Any more details that I need to provide to help make this more clear to get an answer I will.

    Hello Randell,

If you post the website's URL then I can can provide you with a program to logon to the site. I don't need to logon to the site, only need to visit the site and retrieve the page source. Once I have that, I can then write the code for you.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Remember To Do the Following....

    1. Use code tags. Place
before the first line of code and
after the last line of code.

It is an intranet site so you can't access it. Maybe you could tell me what to look for so I can maybe figure it out?

    Hello Randell,

Are connecting to database that you need to logon to? If so, what type of database is it?

Re: VBA to issue click command

Leith I appreciate your effort to help me. However I guess I will have to take this on my own because I don't want to give any more details then I have. Pertaining to the setup of things. Therefore my question is do you know of any free online resources that I could learn how to issue a button click with vba? I found a couple snippets but they don't really answer any questions.

I would prefer a resource that would allow me to use Google Chrome as I find it to run much more smoothly and it doesn't crash this old comp like IE does. If you don't know of any resources that would help me with vba html button clicks via chrome then I will settle for IE 7.0+ Thanks for the help you have already given and thanks in advance for any resources you can link me.

Re: VBA to issue click command

    Hello Randell,

I have Google Chrome but am still learning about how to interface with it from Windows. As for IE, I don't IE 7. Sorry I can't be of more help but without something to work with I can't even suggest where you should look or suggest examples. Best of luck with your search.
