One side endcount of rank order data

I have a series of performance measures taken on a set of parts. Some of those parts were made with a "good process", and some of the parts were made using a "bad process". The resultant output measures are labled X for good process parts, and W for bad process parts. what I need to know is: 1) How do I rank order these parts for output measure result from lowest to highest, and 2) Perform a one sided count, starting from lowest and working higher, of this rank that would tell me how many X parts are lower than the lowest W part?
