Sorry about the title i'm new and still trying to find the right words to express my requirements.
Basically I am trying to create a tool to enable my good lady to work out a base rota and producing a very simple to read front sheet to give to her team members.
The basis of the spreadsheet is set up
The help i need is in creating a formula or macro that will look at all times on all days and auto fill in a rota showing start and finish times for each individual by day. slight comlication is that everyday 1 person will do a double shift i.e. starting before 1pm but not finishing til closing time. the sheet on sheet 3 is split to provide counts for number of people doing each different role at any given time. if person is on a double shift they need to be netered into that days sheet on sheet 3 twice i.e. original start time eg 8 am and also at 5 pm which is the start of all second shifts. hope that makes sense.
the help i need is to be able to convert the mass of data on sheet 3 on completion of data entry into sheet 3 to auto fill in the table on BASE ROTA sheet.
not sure if this is possible, i know my limited knowledge cannot work out a way so please anybody if you can help please try.
