    Excel Timer

Sorry for posting this. I am sure there should be a ready solution somewhere, but I can’t find it.

I have two option buttons in my sheet. Switching the buttons I need the timer to add up the time. I am attaching sample file to illustrate what I need.

    Thanks for the help!

Hi, I had a bit of a problem looking at your attachment - it was corrupted - but I could see the first page.
It looks like you were trying to get a set of chess clocks.

I have done the same thing here but using a form. It makes the coding slightly easier (and it has gone midnight here).
It does update the spreadsheet with the values.

It would be possible to get the time to roll along (continuously change like a timer) but it is a bit more work. And it could be a bit tidier.

    Hi tony,

What you suggested is working for me. Can you please help me with a code that is not using a user form. I just need to start the timers with option buttons on the sheet.
I am attaching a new file with the structure that I would like to use. Note that the file has only one sheet. It is not corrupted.

    Many thanks!

    Re: Excel Timer

    Hi,

I have done the main part of the work. I have added another button to use as a START button. Also cell C8 (I think) hold the start time.

    I haven't really tested it.
