How to read a list and manipulate files based to it?

Hello...

I'm new here, but what I'm seeing I love (already got many tabs open to read later!), so I was hoping someone could help me before my brains turns to jelly...

I have a list (up to 250 lines long), and in this list there are product codes. I also have a directory of my network containing photos of these products, and each photo's filename contains the product code.

Is there a way to read the list of codes and pick the relevant photos off the dir structure and then drop them in the file's directory?

I'd be eternally grateful if someone could help...
