Renaming charts in Excel 2007

In the old Excel it is possible to rename a chart by pressing SHIFT+Mouse Click and then write a new name in the upper left corner name box.

You can apparently do the same thing in Excel 2007, but the new name doesn't stick.
Someone has a hint?

Chart Tools > Layout > Properties > Name

...perhaps not directly related to your specific question but something about which you should be aware. If you create a chart in 2007 and rename it from the default 'Chart1' name, and then subsequently copy and paste it (if for instance you are wanting a similar chart but for some different data), then the second copy of the chart will have the same name

Be aware of this and if you use a macro to copy and paste a chart which you've previously renamed, make sure you also change the name whilst it's still the active chart.

This anomaly doesn't seem to occur if you just accept the system's default chart names. Copies will change to Chart2, Chart3 etc.
