Compile Error, expecting Sub

Hi Guys,

I am completely new to vba and was wondering if anyone could explain why this wont run for me?:

Whenever I try to run this I get a compile error which says that It was expecting a Sub, Function or Property and then highlights the "Sub" line

It first looks like you are calling a workbook a worksheet

ws needs to be a worksheet.

In order to test the code further, you should supply a sample workbook that you are using the code with.

Initialising both variables to one? Am I doing something horrifically wrong?

Only making up your own syntax

It may be valid syntax in another language but it VBA it's an error.

Are you looping through worksheets or just looping through column A in one worksheet?

After getting off to a poor start I finally got my code to do what I wanted. Thanks for the help
