changing line color over multiple points

Hi I'm stuck at work with an urgent question

If i have data points B1:B100 and on my line chart i need the portion of the line corresponding to b1:b10 to be one color, b50:b80 in another color and rest of the points to be a distinct 3rd color what is the best way to do this???

any help is greatly appreciated

one post per question is sufficient. The experts will find it!

You will need to spread your data in different columns, one for each color. See the attachment for an example, especially at the boundaries where the data series overlap so there is no gap in the line
