Submit button won't work if cursor is blinking in any cell

The submit button on my form will not work unless I click out of the cell that was being typed in. How can I correct this issue without forcing the user to have to click in a seperate cell than they were typing in. This affects both excel 2003 and 2007.

When Excel is in Edit mode (i.e, the cursor is in a cell), nothing else is going to happen.

That doesn't make sense considering this is like a ticket request. They type in the field their request and end the statement with a period or whatever there problem is and then they want to click submit. They don't want to click in another cell and hit submit. Is there no way to break out of this on hover over submit button or anything.

When they make their entry in a cell they need to click enter to confirm the entry.
    Hope that helps.

That's a much more complete answer, Roy, thank you.
