    Macro to insert WordArt

I posted this a while back, but didn't choose instand email reply in the drop down, so I never found a reply.

I'm writing a macro to insert wordart text in the upper left corner of a file. I'm using wordart because I need to rotate the text.

Can I write code that pops up a dialog box into which I type the batch number? the rest is all automated - only the batch number changes, file to file. I saw there was no way to copy from the clipboard into the macro. In other words, I could type in the batch number, run the macro and the batch number would get cut then pasted into the word art box, then rotated and positioned correctly. It seemed this was undoable.

So, now I just want a dialog box to pop up into which I type the batch number. the rest of the macro deletes the header and adjusts the margins so the batch number is all the way in the upper left.

I also need to know how to make this macro available as either a toolbar button or keyboard shortcut in all excel files. I'm exporting data from QuickBooks, so a new excel file is opened each time and I want to run it in after these exports.

    thanks,

    Gary
