Counting unique combinations of two cell values

The macro would evaluate a data set that has two columns (A & B), ColA contains ID numbers and ColB has years so that the combination of the two would create a unique ID/Yr combo. The macro would then count the number of data rows that have an unique combo. For example:

    ColA ColB
    6119 1980
    6119 1981
    7231 2000
    7231 2001
    7231 2001

The expected macro result from the above example would be 4 - which would then be placed within the same worksheet where dataset is. My anticipated thanks for you help.
