Run-time Error '9': Subscript out of range

I have been working on creating an inventory spreadsheet for my workplace. I am nearly done, but am having some trouble with the macro I am trying to use. I am attempting to delete duplicate entries in column a sheet 1 before copying them to sheet 2.

I have used this macro in a blank excel file with values only in the column a of sheet 1, but when I attempted to use the same macro in the excel file i have been creating it decides to have a seizure.

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Your worksheet is named sheet 1, with a space; however, your formula omits the space. Also, try

    which always returns 100.

    Ben.

Travis has not answered yet but when I try the code in his attachment, with your suggested change, it leaves one double at cells A2 and A3. I have tried to change the code but I am not savvy enough to do so. What do I need to change to make it work.

I don't know if this qualifies as hijacking, I hope not, and if so, I'll start a new thread.

    Thanls and regards

    John
