Scanning Numeric Data

Does anyone know of an Excel formula that would scan a column of numeric data, and then, based on the numeric data, give a possible numeric value?

This is a vague request. If you're referring to predicting random values, I'm afraid there's nothing more we have to add on that. If you're talking about an array of values that have a definable pattern, could you please elaborate what the pattern is or give an example?
