Macro to hide cells based on a value from another

Hello - I am not even sure if this is possible, but here is what I am trying to do.

We have one worksheet called "Project Overview". In this worksheet we have a drop down list in cell C7. We have another sheet in the same workbook that is called "Kick_Off_Call_Spec_Review".

What I would like to do is if Cell C7 in the Project overview sheet is set to a value of 'No', then cells B18-C35 in the Kick_Off_Call_Spec_Review sheet would be hidden. Is this possible?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Hi garveyj

I stand to be corrected on this but i am pretty sure you can not hide a range of cells, only entire rows or columns.

If you want to hide an entire set of rows and or columns then this would be possible with a macro that ran when the cell value changed or you could just have 2 buttons, 1 to say hide and the other to say unhide.

However if you just want to not show values a simple way of doing this (and avoiding VBA) would be to use conditional formatting to set the text to the same colour as the background when the cell value "C7" = "No". You would need to have a link to this cell in the other sheet as conditional formatting does not allow references to other sheets but that is very easy to do.

If either of these sound useful let me know and I'll explain how to do it.

    Cheers

    Jim
