I'm trying to copy say "B2" to a named column but staying on row 2.
Arabella, the onus is on you to provide sufficient information that someone can reasonably answer your question. So far, you're not holding up your end.
Well, I'm trying to create a VBA code that always copies the value of the active cell (which may be in colum A, B or C) and paste it to a named column but keeping to the same row. I say named column because I might insert columns and the offset function would not work if I insert columns.

Arabella, columnName is a variable that has to be initlaized to a column letter or number.
