Time Travel & Upon Opening WB Macros

    Hi all,

Is there any way to calculate the PREVIOUS value of a cell with its CURRENT value? Say, A1 concatenates "5" from B1, then it concatenates "6" from B1. Can I subtract the "5" from the "6" in cell C1 such that C1 results in "1"?

    Tanx again,
    G

Slightly re-worded... I have a formulaic value in A1, which will regularly change. However, I need the immediately prior value of A1 to appear in J15.

For instance, if A1's value at 1PM is "5" and at 2PM changes to "6", I need "5" to get recorded in J15, and so on... Seems simple enough, any ideas?

    Thank ya,
    G

P.S. Any macros would need to be "triggerable" via formula-induced value changes, not direct/manual cell input.

Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

This seems almost the same as your previous post. Can you start posting according to the Forum Ruls or don't bother posting
