Macro to "export" information from one excel workbook to another

    Hello Guys/Gals,

I have a tough one for me (maybe very easy to MANY of you).

I have a entire workbook that I have been working on for some time now. A number of employees will have this workbook on their laptops in the field to do their job. My problem is that when they come into the office to "turn in" their job, I need a single place to store the information that I need.

So, what I would like is a "export button" that will take the info that I need and place it into another workbook and add it into a database. Of course it needs to just add to the database, so if there is something in row 10, i need the button to make it drop to 11 and so forth.

Please PLease Please help me. Thank you

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

You can use the code from the Contacts Form to copy from the form to the database available here

Not sure if I'm right, will the employee store several jobs then export them all to one master workbook?

If it's the one job to transfer from the form directly, then add a button from the Controls toolbox in the Deeveloper tab -> Insert. Add this code to the button
