    Printing labels

    Good Morning,

I'm in need of a little help and I really don't know where to start, So hopefully I've put this into the right forum section.

    In the data sheet I've got a list of customers,order numbers,product codes,qty to pick,config,line number,delivery point name,amount of pallets.

All I want to do is have a label which prints onto A4 landscape which has the customer along the top, delivery point name below it, then the amount of pallets for example on the label the first one would be

    TSHIP GA INT
    JUDDS COLD STORE
    8982A
    1 of 4 Pallets

then it would print a total of 4 going labels, with 2 of 4, 3 of 4 etc...

    Is that possible?

    Re: Printing labels

    Hi,

your data sheet does not show any content, since it references an external data source. So no data can be seen and a solution is hard to suggest.

As a general rule, if you have Excel, you probably also have Word. That's your ticket to the solution. Word does a brilliant job of creating documents that merge information from an Excel spreadsheet. All out of the box. Create a document, 4 labels to a sheet, if you want, select the data source, define the fields to appear on each label, filter the data source if you want, hit a button and, hey, presto .... labels for everyone.

Check out the Word help files for the mail merge (tip: use the label opton), make use of the wizard and its step-by-step walk through, and if you have any questions, feel welcome to come back with a sample with real data.

    I'm happy to help further.

    cheers
