    Floating "Nav." window

I want to create a floating window in excel that can contain a series of macro buttons (12 total)

I'd like to see if this window can be opened with a hyperlink or a single macro button on a spread sheet.

I'm lost as far as this goes.

    Can anyone help?

    Re: Floating "Nav." window

thanks for the help, i've created the user form. with the buttons i need, however i can't seem to get the buttons to do what i want them to. I'm trying to add macros to those buttons and they aren't functioning. thoughts?

    attached is the file.

Please note the user form (called on by the button "Show WMTS Equip." button, displays the same 12 buttons at the top of the page,(in the frozen cell area)

the current buttons can be hard to reach when using the file so i want them to be available through the userform.

any and all tips would be helpful. THanks.

    Re: Floating "Nav." window

    Are you using Excel 2007?

Your code isn't in the click event of the button so the button won't work. In the VB Edito doubleclick on the buttons, this will open the button's click event, that's where the code should be,

You don't actually need to select the sheet or range

Your Office Version is listed as Excel 2007, bu you attached a 2003 workbook.

I can't tell from your code where you are copying to.

    Re: Floating "Nav." window

    That worked great,
    I have another question:

I'm making another user form that has 9 buttons that correlate with the hyperlinks to the left of the static buttons at the top of the page. These buttons link to Range names on the file (ex: Ground, _1st_Floor, _2nd_Floor etc. to _8th_Floor)

My question is, what's the macro to jump to these Ranges?

    Thanks for your help.

The object is the insert the copied information into the selected cell on Sheet1

    Re: Floating "Nav." window

Look at the FollowHyperlink method in the VBA help files.

As I said previously you don't need to select sheets & ranges, you can copy cells, etc without doing so

    Re: Floating "Nav." window

If i remove the hyperlink and just have buttons, within a userform, would i be using a Range("Ground").Activate or select option?

    Re: Floating "Nav." window

You can use Application.GoTo, bu as i keep saying for faster, more efficient code you do not need to go to the ranges.
