The Dim statement is used to declare a variable as a specific Data Type. Some Data Types are Integer, Long, Single, Double, Date, and Object.

Although i dont really understand but at least it gives me a rough idea rather than total blank. I believe when i see more examples with DIM and use your guys explanation to interpret it, i will have a better understanding.
