Numbers acting as text

Hi Guys,

I'm using a macro to copy and paste values from one sheet to another.

The Source values are numbers formatted in currency and when they appear in the new sheet they act as text.

The only way that i can get them to act as numbers again is to either multiply each number by 1 or press F2 on each cell.

Is there a way to sort this without doing the above?
