sum Total of columns of populated rows only

    Hi all,

Hope someone can help me with this. I have attached a workbook that shows transactions over a period of time.

There are two macros programmed into the workbook thus far, (shortcuts, ctrl+q and ctrl+e). Before the macro's run, there is no gap between the different transaction dates or item bought or sold.

If you press CTRL+q, the transactions will seperate themselves by item, leaving a few blank rows between the transactions

If you press CTRL+e, the transactions will seperate themselves by date ,
leaving a few blank rows between the transactions

What I need now, is a method to total the columns B(quantity) and columns D(price) of each grouped transaction and to place the totals on the first blank row after each specific group of transactions.

I have made worksheet 2 to show what the ideal end result would look like.

Please can someone help me with this, would really really appreciate it

If you need any additiona information from me, please just ask and I will try my best to respond immediately.

    Thanks so much in anticipation

    Regards,

    Paul
