Listing values into one cell based on a status...

    Hi everyone,

I've been tasked with editing our Excel spreadsheet for test cases.

I've attached the template to help illustrate what I'm trying to do.

On the main worksheet (which is the summary), I'm trying to list the test case #'s from the Requirements worksheets (1 for each requirement) that have 'Blocked' or 'Failed' status. However, I'd like the test case #'s to all be displayed in 1 cell as there will potentially be 100+ test cases for each requirement.

Is this even possible? I'm completely new to the macro/VBA world. I've always just used the sheets, but now I'm being asked to make the sheets more usuable.

After I figure this one out, I'll have to figure out why the Generate Matrix button from the Traceabilty Matrix is including some of the information from the test case section...

And then I'll have to figure out how to copy cells A1:L14 and paste it into the next available row, and have the Num auto generate to the next number....

Wow...I have a lot to figure out...

Well it doesn't look like I can get the test case numbers to all populate into one cell. Guess I'll try creating a new worksheet and using VLookups?

Well that didn't turn out how I wanted it to. Ended up using autofilters with some IF statements. Now the issue will be that each requirement will need each it's own tab because I don't know how to feed in all the results from all requirement worksheets into one worksheet. This is getting complex quickly..and I got no dev skills

Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

I have removed unnecessary wording this time
    Hope that helps.
