Thumbs up Small Account Prgramme in excel

Hello experts, hope you all will be fine..and we pray for you forever cuz you solve our problems..

Actually I m in a small company..My company can not purchase accounting programme..So i m maintaining all transcactions in one sheet 1 name Database ..

Example every column as heading as below

    Column A Column B Column C Column D Column E

Date Voucher# Account Debit Amount Credit Amount

    12/05/09 1250 Fuel chgs $ 450
    12/05/09 1251 Bank chgs $ 100

Now I want in another excell sheet every account separate so that all Fuel entry should go to only Fuel account and all bank chgs should go to bank chgs account which is in sheetB or anywhere in a same formate as database.

Please advise and attach for me some sheet so that i can do and maintain account properly..

    Thanks

As a side note, depending on your country there are lots of free accounting programs now, Microsoft small business, Turbo Cash! A better way than using a spreadsheet!

Your requirements are unclear to me.
If you want each account on a seperate sheet then why don't you just put each account on a seperate sheet?
I must be mising something as at the moment I don't see the need for a macro?

Unless you are like me and others on here "the strange few" Writing VBa is a long process that will require countless days of learning. like squiggler47 said there are many ways to obtain "free" accounting software that will do everythink required and much more. Yes everythink that these software do can prity much be done in VBa though may require months or years of programing to get it to the stage of the Downloadable accounting software.
If you want to create somthink in VBa cos you are curious this is the place to learn.

Though you realy need a plan of what you want to achive if you want to deal with payable accounts in seperate sheets you will need to know how many sheets you want and what you want the sheets for.
Ive been doing somethink kinda like what you "may be thinking" manually for a few years now. I have a sheet that breaks up accounts payable one column for the date another for fuel another for consumables another for equipment under $1000 another for labout another for materials another for vechile expence ect. every month i just sub up all the columns and then do a monthly running total then start again for the next month. This makes it so when i go see the tax agent i sit there for about 45min and we go through and tweek. if i where to have all these expences put over many sheets i think it would complacate it.

so i guess what im saying is that the easeyst way to break up the expence type is by columns.

PivotTables would be the best way to go
    Hope that helps.

    Thanks to all of you...

    For Phil_V..

Dear, Phil, for your clarification ..lets say i have a spread sheet having 5 columns from A to E, i made around 1000 entries in this sheet name Database ( where i enter all voucher)..Column A is for Account Name..under this column i have 10 accounts like fuel, stationery, office repair etc and each account have 10 100 entres in 100 rows in different dates

Now I opened 10 different sheets for these 10 accounts.

I want that if i put under cloumn A the account name FUEL..it should go automatically in my other sheet where i made talbe for FUEL account. and same like that rest 9 accounts should also go to all related sheets.

If it is clear for you..pls help me..thanks

As I said, use a PivotTable & maintain all data in one table.

I have a small accounts program in Excel that produces sales tax (VAT) reports, P & L etc. All data is kept in one table for Sales 7 another for purchases
