    Splittling worksheet into multiple worksheets

I have a Visual Basic macro I used to use to split a large worksheet with tens of thousands of records into multiples worksheets of n rows each. I upgraded to Office 2008 and lost the use of that macro.

Can someone help me figure out how to do it in Excel 2008?

Here is the old VB macro:

I was thinking an Excel macro, but I'm open to suggestions...

Macs don't support VBA is my understanding.

The code you listed above works fine for me in Excel 2008. Did you save the workbook as a macro enabled workbook first? I have attached the test file I used.

Re: Splittling worksheet into multiple worksheets

SHG must have hit the nail on the head that Mac version of Office 2008 doesn't support VB. I have Intel and PPC Macs, and both supported VB in Office X for Mac. But apparently Office 2008 for Mac doesn't.

That really ticks me off. Like every Microsoft product, I feel like I need to go and "upgrade" to the previous version to get the functionality back that I need.

Does anyone know a workaround to script this in the Mac version of Excel 2008?

Thank you Mallycat! Perfect. For those who find this thread in the future, apparently Office 2008 does not automatically check for and install updates.

Here is the link to the Service Pack 1 download page for Office 2008 Mac:
